It is wise to assess your situation and determine what other equipment may be necessary to complete the job on your own. We recommend you entrust a professional for homes that are at least two stories tall.
Cleaning your gutters can either be a daunting task or a relatively simple one. After you've acquired the proper equipment and tools, It's then time to proceed with the task at hand. We advise that It's best to get to work with somebody else around, like a friend or neighbor, that can ensure you're taken care of during an unfortunate accident.
Use appropriate safety gear (dust mask, eye protectant, rubber gloves) before climbing onto the ladder. We advise you to use tools sparingly depending on your comfortability with being on a ladder.
When collecting gutter debris, we suggest using a bucket or tarp. Using either or both will aid in making the cleanup process a lot easier. Take your time removing gutter debris, don't extend your reach beyond the ladder. Safety always comes before speed. Once you've removed gutter debris, we recommend taking your garden hose and washing off your gutters. Also, It is wise to spray the hose down your downpipes. Taking this step will help remove any possible blockage and detect leaks in your gutter.
We recommend entrusting a professional with the job when time constraints are in place, or safety and experience is a real concern.
Tim did a fabulous job, he washed the house first, which was dirty as we live on the Rathdrum Plains where we get lots of wind blowing dust the house looks just like it was freshly painted. Tim did the screens and Windows, outside and inside, he did a great job, this is the second time we had our Windows done by Tim, a diligent worker, very polite, we will continue to use Brandon Window Cleaners to keep our windows clean and keep the screens in good condition. Thanks, Tim, great job.
